How to Receive Crypto
Receiving crypto in Pays Wallet is easy. You just need to share your wallet address with the sender.
Getting Your Wallet Address
- Open the Wallet tab.
- Tap Receive.
- You'll see your wallet address displayed as both text and a QR code.
Sharing Your Address
You have a few options:
- Copy — Tap the copy button to copy your address to the clipboard. Paste it in a message, email, or anywhere else.
- QR Code — Have the sender scan your QR code directly from your screen. This is the easiest option if you're together in person.
- Share — Use the share button to send your address via messaging apps, email, or AirDrop.
Smart Routing Address (SRA)
Your Smart Routing Address is a single address that works across all supported chains. When someone sends you crypto on Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, or Polygon, it all gets routed to your wallet automatically. This is the address shown by default on the Receive screen.
Multi-Chain Addresses
If you need a network-specific address (for example, someone specifically wants to send on Arbitrum), you can view your address for each individual chain from the Receive screen.
What Tokens Can I Receive?
You can receive any ERC-20 token on the supported networks. Common tokens include USDC, USDT, ETH, and other popular assets. Once received, they'll appear in your asset list on the Wallet tab.
How Long Does It Take?
- On Base, Arbitrum, Optimism: Usually a few seconds to a couple of minutes.
- On Polygon: Typically under a minute.
The transaction will show up in your Activity feed as soon as it's confirmed on the network.
Troubleshooting
- I sent crypto but it's not showing up. Wait a few minutes and pull to refresh. If it still doesn't appear, make sure the sender used the correct address and a supported network.
- I sent on the wrong network. If the tokens were sent on a network Pays Wallet doesn't support, we won't be able to show them in your wallet. Always double-check the network before sending.
- The balance seems wrong. Try pulling to refresh. Balances update in near real-time but may briefly lag behind during high network activity.
