Supported Blockchain Networks
Pays Wallet supports multiple blockchain networks so you can manage assets across the most popular Layer 2 chains.
Supported Networks
- Base — This is your home network. Your smart wallet lives here and it's the primary chain for all Pays Wallet features.
- Arbitrum — A popular Ethereum Layer 2 with low fees and fast transactions.
- Optimism — Another widely-used Ethereum Layer 2 known for speed and low costs.
- Polygon — A well-established sidechain with broad token support.
What Does "Home Chain" Mean?
Base is the default network for your Pays Wallet. When you top up your wallet, or create a virtual card, everything happens on Base. You can still hold and manage assets on other supported chains — they'll show up in your portfolio alongside your Base tokens.
Cross-Chain Support
Your wallet address works across all supported networks. When someone sends you tokens on Arbitrum, Optimism, or Polygon, they'll appear in your wallet automatically. You can view balances broken down by chain in your portfolio.
Smart Routing Address
Your Smart Routing Address (SRA) simplifies receiving funds. Share this single address with anyone, and incoming transfers from any supported chain will be automatically routed to your wallet. No need to worry about which chain the sender is using.
Network Fees
Each network has its own transaction fee, often called gas. Layer 2 networks like Base, Arbitrum, and Optimism generally have very low network fees - often just a few cents per transaction.
