How to Create a Pays Wallet Account
Getting started with Pays Wallet takes just a minute. Here's how to set up your account and start managing crypto.
Creating Your Account
- Download the Pays Wallet app from the App Store (iOS).
- Open the app and tap Login / Register.
- Sign in with your email, or tap Continue with Apple or Continue with Google.
- Complete the authentication prompt.
- That's it — your wallet is automatically created for you.
What Happens Behind the Scenes
When you create your account, Pays Wallet automatically sets up a smart wallet for you. This is a secure, self-custodial wallet that lives on the Base blockchain. You don't need to write down a seed phrase or manage private keys — your wallet is tied to your login credentials and secured by advanced account abstraction technology.
Your Wallet Address
Once your account is created, you'll have a wallet address you can use to receive crypto. You can find it by tapping Receive on the Wallet tab. Your wallet supports multiple blockchain networks including Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon.
Smart Routing Address (SRA)
You'll also get a Smart Routing Address — a single address that automatically routes incoming funds to your wallet regardless of which supported chain they're sent from. This makes receiving payments super simple.
