What is Pays Wallet?
Pays Wallet is a mobile crypto wallet that lets you manage digital assets, spend crypto with virtual Visa cards, and move between crypto and fiat currency — all from one app.
Is Pays Wallet free to use?
Pays Wallet has no account or subscription fee. We sponsor supported network fees, and any Pays fee for swaps, deposits, or withdrawals is shown before you confirm.
What platforms is Pays Wallet available on?
Pays Wallet is available on iOS (App Store).
Is my crypto safe?
Yes. Pays Wallet is self-custodial, meaning you have full control of your assets. Your wallet is secured by smart contract technology and your login credentials. We can't access or move your funds.
Wallet
Do I need to save a seed phrase?
No. Unlike traditional crypto wallets, Pays Wallet uses smart wallet technology that's tied to your login credentials. No seed phrases to write down or lose.
What tokens can I hold?
You can hold any ERC-20 token on Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon. Common tokens like USDC, USDT, ETH, and many others are supported.
Can I use multiple chains?
Yes. Your wallet supports Base (primary), Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon. Assets across all chains show up in your portfolio.
What is an EOA sweep?
If you accidentally send funds to your EOA (externally owned account) instead of your smart wallet, the EOA sweep feature lets you move those funds to your smart wallet where they can be fully managed.
Cards
How many virtual cards can I have?
You can create up to 5 active virtual cards at a time.
Where can I use my virtual card?
Anywhere Visa is accepted — online, in apps, and in-store via Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Why was my KYC rejected?
Common reasons include blurry ID photos, expired documents, or a mismatch between your ID and selfie. You can retry the verification from the Cards screen (tap the card icon in the wallet header). Make sure to use a clear photo of a valid, non-expired government ID.
Can I freeze my card?
Yes. Go to the Cards screen (tap the card icon in the wallet header), select the card, and tap Freeze. This instantly blocks all transactions. You can unfreeze it anytime.
Sending & Receiving
Can I send crypto to any wallet?
You can send to any valid EVM wallet address on the supported networks. Always make sure you're sending on the correct network.
Can I reverse a transaction?
No. Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed. Always double-check addresses before sending.
How long do transactions take?
Most transactions on L2 networks confirm within seconds. Occasionally during high network demand, it may take a few minutes.
Deposits & Withdrawals
How do I deposit funds?
Go to the Deposits screen (tap Receive, then Bank), create a virtual bank account for your currency, and send a bank transfer. Deposits are automatically converted to USDC on Base.
What currencies can I deposit?
USD, EUR, GBP, MXN, BRL, and COP are supported. Available currencies depend on your region.
Why can't I create a deposit account?
You need to complete identity verification (KYC) first. If deposits aren't available in your region, you'll see a notice in the app.
How do withdrawals work?
Go to the Wallet tab and tap Withdraw. Add a bank account, select the amount, and confirm. Fiat funds are sent to your bank account via Bridge.
How long does it take to receive fiat after withdrawing?
Transfer times vary by payment rail. Faster Payments and SPEI are usually within minutes, SEPA is typically same day, and ACH can take 1-3 business days.
